Student Veterinary Nurse and Weekend Receptionist
I started at the Oaks in 2014 whilst I was still in school, initially doing voluntary work experience a couple of nights per week. In 2016 I started a degree in Veterinary Nursing at Napier University in Edinburgh.
During my course I spend part of my time on placement learning at the Oaks and the rest studying. I love the hands on nature of veterinary nursing and caring for all the different animals which are hospitalised for procedures. When not on placement I love going out with my friends and having trips to the cinema to watch the latest blockbuster. I also like the idea of going to the gym but enjoy making up reasons not to go even more.
At home I have a 4yo Border Collie called Zak who is great company but slightly high maintenance and a cat called Bliss who is technically my sisters but somehow I end up paying the vet bills.
