It may seem like there are lots of things to pay for in the first few weeks when you consider vaccinations, worming treatment, microchipping etc. However providing essential routine care for your pet is all part of being a responsible owner for the lifetime of your pet. Why not consider saving money on the cost of treatments and services but joining our Pet Health Club.
Our nursing staff run puppy parties in our Largs branch on a Tuesday and at our Saltcoats branch on a Monday and Wednesday. You can get lots of information and support while your puppy gets the chance to socialise. These start from one week after your puppies first vaccination. Please speak to a member of our reception staff if you'd like to get booked in. Puppies who complete the 4 week course will be given a 10% discount voucher for routine neutering from 6 months of age.
Once your puppy has graduated from puppy parties you want to consider training classes. Many clients will remember our previous vet nurse, Ros McKay, who now runs her own training and agility centre in Kilmarnock. See www.dogtrainingayrshire.co.uk to find out more.
We're always happy to answer any questions owners have, either in person, or over the phone so feel free to contact us with any queries. However if you have a non-urgent questions when we are closed and you're looking for reliable information online then we advise looking at pethealthinfo.org.uk.
We look forward to meeting the newest member of your family!
